Give Gratifying Greetings

I sometimes think, the way we greet one another has more effect on the progress of human beings then anything ever said by the world's greatest orators.
        In 2,000 languages "raahub, hello, salaam alaykum, hail, ma shalomka, etcetera" creates good or bad human relationships in the lives of unnumbered millions everyday.
        What does your greeting really say? What kind of electromagnetic quality have you implanted in these simple little sayings?
        Is it the vibrational pattern of discouragement, dismay, distrust, and doubt; or does it uplift? Does it establish a new degree in the mind of the hearer? Does it say to that person, you are an individual who can accomplish something? Though you are beset by troubles, you have a worthwhile life to live. Though outward circumstances seem to indicate otherwise, you are the majestic individual. Does your greeting say that? Does it establish a true brotherhood and sisterhood between you and the one to whom it is spoken? Just by the way you give your greeting will, when it proceeds from the inner depth of your spiritual nature. Your hands and your voice are just two of the physical qualities that you possess for expressing the spiritual majesty of your being.

Selassie the Traitor

I (Dr. Malachi Z. York-El), myself have a personal interest in the travesties of Haile Selassie because he was a traitor. He betrayed my father. It was because of his betrayal, that my father, As Sayyid Al Haadi Abdur Rahmaan Al Mahdi is now dead. Now, this is the real story. After all efforts to keep peace in the Sudan between the Ansaars and the opposing party (which consisted of the Khatmiyya, the communists and the Egyptians) had failed, As Sayyid Al Haadi Abdur Rahmaan Al Mahdi decided to leave the country for Ethiopia. In the year 1970 A.D. he was to meet with Ansaar leaders, many of whom had been exiled, outside of Sudan at Alraduwk Mountain Camp, 22 Kilometers (12.4 miles) east of the Sea of Alkurmuk. Unknown to As Sayyid Al Haadi Abdur Rahmaan Al Mahdi, Haile Selassie betrayed the Ansaars by making this known to the May regime.
An agreement had been reached between him and Haile Selassie, to allow the Ansaars to secretly immigrate to Ethiopia and to maintain training camps on the border; but Haile Selassie betrayed the Ansaars. He informed the British government who worked with the Americans and the Anglo-Egyptians, who he had always had a pact with, of this plan. On the way to the border, on March 31, 1970 A.D., a police force surrounded as As Sayyid Al Haadi Abdur Rahmaan Al Mahdi and his companions, Sayfuddiyn Anaji and Muhammad Ahmad Mustafa.
As Sayyid Al Haadi Abdur Rahmaan Al Mahdi was shot in his right leg, his two other companions were assassinated, and their bodies were buried in Aldown Valley (near Bawu in Ingasana Mountain). The police then took my father to jail. Haile was informed that he was there in jail and there is where the alleged god, Haile Selassie, ordered my father's death. He was shot repeatedly in the back of his head. His body was later taken to the same place where they buried my father's other two companions.

Roots of Haiti

The Arawak were the original inhabitants of Haiti also (refer to Roots of Jamaica); it was originally called Ayti meaning, "land of mountains." Columbus settled on the island shared with the Dominican Republic in 1492 A.D. when an early colony was destroyed by the natives. The Spanish settled on the eastern half of the island and left the west unsettled. French privates were hunting on the west side of the island, and in 1697 A.D., Spain formally ceded the western, one third of the island to France. This portion became known as Haiti, and the east became the Dominican Republic. The French established a flourishing slave-plantation system throughout the colony and at the end of the century, it became the world's richest colony.
So the Haitians and the Dominican Republicans are a mix of French, Spanish, Arawak Native Americans and Moors. By the 1800's A.D. the population of Haiti was more than 450,000 "slaves," 25,000 Mulattos and 30,000 French.
