Clarence 13X taught youth…Messenger Clarence 13X (February 1929 - June 1969) used the teachings of the Messenger Elijah Muhammad’s Nation of Islam as the basis of his teachings, which came to be the doctrine of the Five Percent Nation.He taught his young followers to complete their education and to learn trades and professions. He taught them to be responsible and to acquire jobs needed to support the black community.
