. . . In 2 Samuel 10:18 and 1 Chronicles 19:18, like many bible quotes, the zero was lost. According to 2 Samuel 10:18 David slew 700 chariots and 40,000 horsemen. Yet 1 Chronicles 19:18 says that David slew 7,000 chariots and 40,000 footmen. (Refer to 360 Questions to Ask a Hebrew Israelite Part 4, and Is There A God? Parts 1 & 2.)

Which one is correct? Neither, because there were no numbers in the original Hebrew bible. They used the first ten letters and the sifr, which is the zero (0) that was invented by the Arabs. (Refer to 360 Questions to Ask a Sunni Moslem Part 1.) It came from the Ashuric/Syraic (Arabic) word safara meaning “nothing to be nothing” or sifr “to be empty,” from which you see comes the word cipher. So, there are many mathematical mistakes in the bible with quantities and dates, because it had to be adjusted to someone else’s system. Now, if you look up the word math you will see that it simply means – “science, to learn.

This just goes to show you that the stories of your bible are not accurate and have been revised, re-revised, re-edited, rewritten and rearranged so that you wouldn’t receive an accurate account of the original story. They played “telephone man” with the story being passed down through so many people.
