Persecutees’ blessings

Recently, by way of e-mail, I was harangued and asked, “why would you want to go to Savior’s Weekend when your Savior is a blah blah blah?” I never respond to these personally, however, I will address this one here.

Hype-believers, I would still, without hesitance, allow the alleged blah blah blah Dr. Malachi Z. York-El, in my absence, to care for my callow children. In this, he is one of a tiny select group. Dump your “haterade.”

Furthermore, Savior’s Weekend is more than just seeing the Savior; it is about celebrating his work and flocking together with fellow followers. Badgered, lambasted, held captive, plenteous or sitting pretty we give continual praises unto the Most High for the indisputable gifts bestowed us. Selah.

I am grateful for the work put into planning, presenting, and hosting this event. Mine eyes have seen the glory; mine ears have heard and felt the Om. Savior’s Weekend has become an instinctive, annual revival while January 1 pales in comparison.

It’s great to see folks standing up straight, bright-eyed, and seeking knowledge with a positive self-image (many of whom come dressed to the nines). Even greater to see is the children that learn from many examples visualized by the aforementioned. Is not it wonderful that they have so much of their culture in their youth?

Likely and hopefully – as in years past – there will be the latest and rarest stuff available at the celebration (the only place in Putnam County that I will spend). This year, alongside my personal interests, I hope to buy something unique for one or more persons who’ll win a drawing (in development) for those who have shown their care for Pop via factology.com’s online solicitation.

In short, products, the drum thumps, modern psalms, graphic art, architecture and restored ceremonies would be enough to attract me. And if you’re single, it is a fine place for a persecutee to pursue a cutie.

Certainly, our master teacher’s presence will be missed, as it was last year. However, our mission, under his guidance continues; new books are impending. (No, I don’t know if they’ll be at the function.) I can understand how many desire to meet and thank him for teaching self-improvement and self-identity. The good thing is he is fully aware of that, and will get word of the turnout.

Some haters wrongly thought that Nuwaupu (sound right reasoning) was going to disband. Should not they be happy, regardless of ideologies, that a large group of kindred congregate and have a healthy, peaceful and good time together? If they are of God, they would.

I vividly remember, a few years back, when Steve from Doc’s old group Passion gave a touching performance dedicated to York-El; I asked a crony if he had seen it. His bitter reply was, “ah man you know people come here to see Doc.” Even most of those harboring these feelings will attend; it is a tiny percent of man-worshippers that won’t attend solely due to the master’s absence.

Another reason I’m glad to go is the questioning haranguers wont be there; unlike on the Internet, among the above-mentioned family they’d surely come into view. We are all better off where we fit in.

Factology! Belief is ignorance.
