Politics, foolish?

Dedicated to: you know who you are.

Wholeheartedly I agree with, Revelation 18:4 that commands us to “come out of her (the great city, the New Babylon – United States),” and as Dr. Malachi. Z. York-El warned, in The Spell of Leviathan, their (politicos) plans ‘do not include us (Nubians).’ However, I think it is foolish to ignore her proceeding. Hence, I stay abreast of current events that affect our lives as The Holy Tabernacle Family Guide advises. Undeniably, the majority of us, including York-El, partake in political discussions at times.

Because I opined that the Iraq conflict was not about commandeering oil, and expressed my disinterest of the conspiracy theories surrounding it, plus occasionally linking to insightful troop/president-supporting commentaries, I have frequently been derided with lols (digispeak for laughing out loud), and questions. E.g., “where do you live, in the forest?” and “what planet are you from?” Worse is the occasional maligning, such as, “he’s trying to convert all Nuwaupians into republicans.” Nothing could be further from the truth.

Though before the 2000 elections I endorsed President Bush, whom York-El once said, at the 2001 Denderah Ball – “is not a bad president” (perhaps their rotten tomatoes were mental that moment) – politically thinking, I am, in the spirit of the “do for self” mantra, a libertarian. The liberty that means freedom from other’s control, the liberty that existed before the statue, and bell for that manner.

The Putnam News newspaper of June 2000, abounding with the teachings of York-El (published by an “unincorporated group”) bids us to vote and for whom...Al Gore; it also has an article that says why (policymaking, fight racism).

Having grown tired of depending on D.C. and vice-versa, that Bush seeks tax-cuts, and his anti-affirmative action stance (that’s right, we can get our own twenty points Univ. of Michigan) made my choice for the presidency an easy decision. Though not totally satisfied with the President’s policies (e.g., Patriot Act, spending, support for the current ban against so-called “assault weapons”), I remain ecstatic that Gore is not at the helm.

According to some, I am being foolish for discussing, the recast they parrot, “polytricks.” Whereas the Supreme Master Teacher does, those Lilliputian arrows are harmless to me. We are instructed in the aforementioned guidebook to know, among other things, Webster’s (the dictionary guy) “political outlooks” that we will know the angle behind his definitions. Should not we do the same with journalists whose politicized works we occasionally “e-mail to a friend” and/or post on message boards?

I am aware the United States is a republic, and that its major parties, as I have been drilled, are “two wings on the same bird, influenced by the Illuminati.” Still, there are differences, which the forenamed newspaper recognized; I support those who push for fewer: laws, taxes, and citizen control. I merely respect the few journalists that defend the Constitution – the same one recognized as “the highest law in the land” in the Little Guide Book For Nuwaubians.

Echoing thoughts of the past, I advise that those teeming with disloyalty to the US of A, who absolutely want to “come out of her,” to do like the late jazz great Nina Simone, i.e., pull up stakes. There are no hindrances. In the midst of arguing, many divulge to me their success or professionalism; they could do well abroad and return for our essential events.

For challenging clear-cut: spin, innuendoes, and theories I have been attacked and designated an ‘alleged follower.’ Confessedly, I could touch up my nuwaupu (sound right reasoning), evidently, so can they. Yet, with certainty I cherish the juncture at which I abandoned junk-journalism conjectures and the ways of the pedantic apparatchik.

Finally, while they are active Nuwaubians, I will always have cousinly affection for them, whether allegedly apolitical or not. I penned this with hopes we will all learn more about open-mindedness (fellow bibliophiles, I will read Dan Briody’s Iron Triangle) and emotions, on the path back to our minds.

Factology! Belief is ignorance.
